Property Development, Friendship Development

Yeesh..

You would think by the fact that I haven’t posted entries here everyday that I haven’t been doing anything in Second Life (SL.)

Not true.

Seems there is always something to do, and sometimes the things that I should be doing are getting waylaid a bit by doing the fun stuff. Now that isn’t such a bad thing, is it? Hehe. Of course not!

As far as the new property goes. Yeah, it’s taking a little longer than I thought, but that’s quite alright with me. Once things get going, they’ll move pretty fast. One of the things I was waiting on was to find out whether Zen was going to join me there. That’s not going to be the way it is though – he has decided that he wants to stay at Sammy Springs. I will admit I was a little disappointed, but I see this as the natural evolution of things on SL… and well… it could very well be that he needs his space, and *shrug* I probably do too. I also very much like the idea of him keeping the place at Sammy Springs just because it is a sweet little place with the most awesome waterways – very secluded and absolutely perfect for swimming and skinny dipping. Woot woot!

So.. what else have I been doing? Hanging with friends mostly . . . the same ones . . . of course . . . because I think I have the greatest bunch of friends in SL. They’re friendly, caring, supportive and a whole lot of fun to be with. Really, despite the fact that many people question whether you can have true *friendships* with people you have never met – I have to disagree. The friends I have in SL are as close as any friends I have ever had in Real Life (RL.)

Today was kinda kewl – got to watch Duncan build an addition onto his garden. He makes it look so easy… man… if only it was. Practice, practice, practice. I’ll be getting lots of that with the new property, but in the meantime it was a real pleasure to watch him do his magic. Tonight, Shadow, Kyo, and I, spent time there enjoying Duncan’s fine work. Thanks Duncan!

That’s it for now folks. I’m tired. The wee hours of the morning are fast approaching, and I must get my buns to bed. I’m supposed to go to the lake tomorrow to spend some time with my brothers. A case of RL that will severely affect my SL … hehe… but that’s okay. I need to spend some time with my brothers, and a lake don’t sound quite so bad. Everybody pray that it don’t rain, okay, ‘cuz it did rain over an inch here the other day and if I get rained on that much there… I’m like to dissolve into a puddle of uckies!

Catch ya on the flip side!
