Dirty Dogs!

I haven’t done too much on Second Life (SL) today… or at least not yet.

I spent some time doing a little bit of this… a little bit of that.  What I really need now is a big honkin’ nap!  And I was going to… until I went to let the dogs in from outside and they had burrowed under the fence.  Don’t care about the fence, but you should have seen the dogs – mud from one end to the other… wowsers!

Now, I considered getting mad at them, but what’s the point – it just scares them, doesn’t fix the problem, and they did look awfully cute running up to me like nothing else other than the fact that they had had a good time mattered.  Awww… who’s the pretty puppies?  Well, maybe they will be pretty after their baths – which they have had now.  Dirty rotters!

They’ve been left to their own devices now – I am not going to blow dry two dogs… ugh.  That’s an incredibly huge job… and besides that, who needs to blow dry your dog when they run around and create their own blow dryer mechanism?

Okay… time for my nap now… I’m pooped and I do so wanna go on SL today.

Catch ya on the flip side.

A bit of a Down Day

Doodle Illusion alert: Venture further at your own risk – It’s a deeper Doodle day.

Well, today is not the greatest of days. I do have down ones, yup. In my post from yesterday I talked about my rather hectic schedule for the next week, and when I am feeling overwhelmed by having lots to do, it usually means it is time to take a hard look at what I can pare back.

I did that, and decided that yesterday I had two events happening – A birthday party for my nephew at 6:00pm and our usual Monday family night for 8:00pm. I decided that maybe what I would do would be to pass on the family night. My logic being I have 51 other Mondays in the year that I could visit on. The birthday party – well – that was/is a once a year thing.

Guess what? I ended up not doing either, nor did I come on to Second Life (SL.) My assessment of how to smooth things out was not well received. Got so damn upset that the birthday party was not an option, and coming on to SL wasn’t in the works either. Didn’t get to sleep until 3:00am, and am not functional enough to work.

Good news is I bounce back fairly quick. I’m feeling a little more rambunctious than I was last night. Still shaky, but rambunctious. Sooooo… when I’m feeling down and out, what do I do? Listen to music, of course. Music is a big part of my life – a perfect expression of mood. My mood now… ???

Melancholy, I think… found a really simple stupid song that reflected my mood last night…

Ian Van Dahl – Castles In The Sky

Do you ever question your life
Do you ever wonder why
Do you ever see in your dreams…
All the castles in the sky

Oh tell me why…
Do we build castles in the sky
Oh tell me why…
All the castles way up high.
Please tell me why…
Do we build castles in the sky
Oh tell me why…
All the castles way up high.

Do you ever question your life
Do you ever wonder why
Do you ever see in your dreams…
All the castles in the sky

Oh tell me why…
