Well, I do not believe in blogging for the sake of blogging, so I’m not gonna. Everybody has something interesting to share, right?
Okay maybe not. Nonetheless, today is going relatively smooth… almost too smooth? Nahhhh!
Yesterday I had the day off – a time to play and have fun on Second Life (SL) which I did. I didn’t sleep so well the night before (the sun is rising earlier and earlier and waking me up, darn it!) so I was awake fairly early. Logged on… and a very nice day unfolded – a chance to visit with some friends, Duncan and Coyote up in Coyote’s treehouse – what a rockin’ sweet place that is! He’s got this chair there, and nevermind that you lay in it upside down and the blood rushes to your head, but it’s got a rather um.. weird animation to it. Not sure if it is intention or not, but it looks like you are uh uh … checking out personal body parts. *laugh*
So, once I got the opportunity to sit in another chair I did… and before long, a whole slew of people started to show. Was Awesome! Arianna was the first to arrive, and she fired up her DJ stream – started the place a humming. Was quite kewl to be able to request songs and talk with her at the same time. But, even more fun was when she was talking live, was to be typing stuff into the chat screen to see if we could get her distracted. By the time the event was all over, I think there had been a total of about 7 or 8 other people who had dropped by for a visit.
Oh my … and the things people talk about, too! It is very hard to keep track of conversations that have that many people participating at once. But every once in a while, somebody would say something and it would be like “Did they really say that?” LOL. Eventually I will have no brain cells left that haven’t been corrupted by some sort of talk I’ve never heard before. Just when I think there is nothing left that I could hear, I hear something more… go figure. And… and… it’s not like it is wild and outrageous stuff either… I’m just a little slow on the uptake sometimes. *blush*
Well.. that’s it… thought it was gonna be a blog with not much substance, probably still isn’t, but I view any blog that gets me to smile as a good blog!
